I love photography.

I have always had a love of the arts for as long as I can remember. It was something instilled in me a long time ago. Music, photography, literature, painting, but the one that stood out from them all was my love of art.

Alas, since I began my military service I simply did not have enough time to continue on with my art. My paints and brushes began to collect dust over time and so did my skills. Eventually I couldn’t handle it any more and needed a way to express myself. I turned to photography as it gave me the ability to quickly capture the images that were in my mind. To this day I carry a camera with me wherever I go.

Not too long after starting my own blog I decided to also start what some may call a “digital junk drawer” of my photography and images entitled “Expect Return Fire”. Some of them are amazing some of them not too much. One of the problems I have found in photography is getting a steady supply of models. It is much easier to ask someone if you can paint them rather than get their picture taken. Any ways, I hope you enjoy them.
