Lake Royal Apartments Review
I don’t usually go out of my way to bash independent business but I am making an exception in this case. While I was working at the Defense Language Institute I rented an apartment near an idealistic park that had easy access to the coast line. It was called Lake Royal Apartments located in scenic Monterey, California. The initial down payment was hefty but with such a nice view who could say no. Well, I should have. For one the landlord rented out to individuals based upon sex, race and marital status. Something I would find out much later. Single women tended to pay less and men or anyone who wasn’t white paid more. On top of that the landlord was slow on repairs, often entered my dwelling to make “minorĀ repairs” and told me after the fact. The rent was also unusually high for the location and frankly speaking just wasn’t worth it. Upon leaving I was charged for damn near every scuff on the wall and a bad toilet seat. I have no idea why I was charged for a toilet seat to this day and I actually am extremely anal about cleanliness, sanitation and the general upkeep of my dwelling. If you want to get ripped of by a jew, rent at Lake Royal Apartments.
