When did they stop teaching children these messages in entertainment? Now it seems every super hero either works for the government or gets power from satan.

Maybe this just speaks volumes to my prior military training, but instead of using some cool high speed assassin techniques like martial arts, silenced weapons, and social psychology wouldn’t it just be better to attack hard targets with a really big bomb, or a team of individuals wearing body armor with light machine guns, armed with explosives and level III armored cars? Call me crazy, but I just can’t buy into the hollywood assassin myth. I mean really, who thinks this stuff up?

A good book and entertaining reading for all your left wing socialist friends…assuming you can get them to read it. I purchased the audio book and it was well worth it. Glen Beck is the man!

It is my opinion, the lot of the world’s problems stem from mediocrity and that mediocrity has its roots in individuals who are motivated purely by financial wealth and nothing more. This is a byproduct of consumerism which no one was able to foresee. The problem lies in that in today’s society we are valued by the things we own, IE consumer products. As such the meaning of life is to acquire wealth so one can purchase more and more shit. The problem with this is that no one has a true calling anymore and professions are seen merely as a way for one to increase their personal wealth in order to purchase more stuff. As such, no one takes their profession seriously anymore and what used to be known as a professional no longer exist. People merely go through the motions on a day to day basis in order to recieve their check as they complete there check on the block tasks. Similiar to a monkey in a labratory we go through our lives checking the right boxes and pulling the right levers to recieve our food pellets, IE vacations, cars, McMansions, and other consumer products.
The secondary problem with this is that professionalism as we know it is dead. Gone are the lifelong pursuits not motivated by y personal desire to excel in one’s field and make a name for oneself within one’s town, state, country, or history but are replaced by “paper chasing”. People are content making a name for themselves in shopping malls and parking lots with their fancy cars and fancier accessories. This in turn has disastrous results for society as a whole. Those whom we trust with sacred professions such as the doctor, lawyer, the Soldier, the politician, and the policemen are content merely being cogs in the wheel. They no longer seek to do what is right but seek the quickness, most streamlined cost effective solution that is socially acceptable. The policeman merely arrest those who challenge him and gives little thought to the disastrous results that those effects may have on innocent people. The lawyer will do a plea bargain so he can swing by the pro shop after work to not miss that big sale, the politicians will sell information to China so he and his wife can go on that big vacation in Paris next spring, and the doctor will merely amputate the foot since his customer is paying with a HMO and is lucky he can even have the opportunity to seek health care in this country.
The effects are felt everywhere, recalled cars because someone wanted to go home early as to not miss the big game and half ass weapons testing for the military because the evaluator got a big kick-back from the contractor.
Corruption isn’t caused by a bad economy and greed as many would believe, it is caused by a lack of meaning in one’s life. What should have been their guiding light in life was replaced with money. Lots and lots of money.

Isn’t it cute how hey they can just state out of no where that you are under arrest and then if you don’t comply they can beat the fuck out of you?
