I’ve always said that special “operators” were over rated. They were little more than foot soldiers with institutional motivation. Any individual with sufficient motivation can train, educate, and motivate themselves to the same level if not beyond any special forces “operator”.  As for martial arts training, I’ve always maintained such “training” if you can call it that, is a utter and complete waste of time. Honestly, martial arts was created due to laws to ban the usage of weapons by the common people. The fact that martial arts training is still taken relatively remotely relevant is a mystery to me. It is nothing more than human cock-fighting.  This incident along with the recent Oakland police shooting just serves to illustrate my points. Why do certain government continue to spend millions training “operatives”  in all kinds of useless training if they can be easily dispatched by a gang banger? The Oakland PD lost two SWAT members, one cop, and had a brain damaged cop by ONE, I say again, ONE thug! I am not at all surprised. Special Forces, SWAT, SAS etc aren’t special, until they make a bullet proof soldier they haven’t created anything new under the sun. An “operator” is just a soldier with a higher degree of training due to an organization within an organization having increased resources. What we know as “special operators” today is nothing more than a by product of political beuracracy that doesn’t want to gets its hands dirty, so they hire soldiers to do things with little to no accountability. That’s its, its a thug on the government pay roll.

“This past Sunday, at 5:00 AM, a young couple was jogging together,
as they regularly did, in the local neighborhood where they lived, only a few miles from where I live.

Both were precipitously attacked by multiple criminals. The man was murdered (beaten to death), and the woman is in the hospital, in critical condition.
Police have no leads nor significant evidence to reveal the identity of the attackers. The woman may recover enough to provide information. She may not!

The attackers, two or three, emerged from a parked car and used baseball bats or similar blunt instruments. Robbery was the apparent motive, at least at the beginning.

These facts have emerged:

(1) Both victims were CCW-permit holders, but neither was armed at the time and place of the fatal attack.

(2) The man was a decorated Special Forces Soldier (retired), trained in hand-to-hand fighting.

(3) The attack took place in broad-daylight, in a quiet, upscale,
residential community.

The community is stunned, of course. Police are doing the best they can, but cases where attackers and victims don’t know each other and have no obvious connection are difficult to solve.”

Lessons:

(1) We call them “side-arms” for a reason. At least one needs to be “at your side” all the time. Aspire to be a competent, self-contained, independent Operator. And, expect neither support nor understanding from naive sheeple.

(2) Don’t arbitrarily divide your life into “safe” and “dangerous” parts, places, nor activities. Fate may neglect to celebrate your dear fantasy!
I know people who have CCW-permits, but don’t carry, and they’re ever-ready to treat me to a nauseating dissertation of their idiotic excuses. The foregoing exposes the lethal fallacy of such self-deceptive thinking.

(3) When your spouse (either gender) is squeamish about “the whole
gun-thing, ” help them get over it. You need a partner, not a burden!

(4) Be aware of “pattern-behavior.” Regularly change-up routines. Don’t become predictable. Stalkers will use your predictable routine against you, as was likely the case here.

(5) Don’t deceive yourself that your martial-arts training/prowess will protect you against heavy odds. No matter how many black-belts you have, against multiple, simultaneous criminals, you will likely not prevail, when unarmed. A single, dashing hero, casually dispatching several bad guys with glamorous judo-moves, is something that happens only in movies!

(6) “Police protection” is a contradiction of terms! Don’t fill your head with false expectations with regard to actual services police can provide.

Police investigators are basically “armed archeologists.”
We might catch these guys, and we might not. Patrol officers may be there to help you, and they may not. We get paid the same either way. And, whatever we manage to accomplish after you’re dead, will probably be of scant interest to you anyway!

On Sunday, a small plane owned by Irving “Bud” Feldkamp crashed into Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Butte, Mont. The cemetery is home to a “Memorial to the Unborn,” dedicated to unborn children destroyed through abortion.

Though a dentist, Dr. Feldkamp owns Family Planning Associates, the largest private chain of abortion clinics in California, reports pro-life activist Gingi Edmonds. As a member of Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, Ms. Edmonds protested weekly at Dr. Feldkamp’s home in Redlands, Calif. Dr. Feldkamp oversees 17 abortion facilities affiliated with Family Planning Associates.

Members of Dr. Feldkamp’s family who died in the crash include two daughters, their husbands and five grandchildren. Authorities speculate that the plane’s cabin was overloaded.

A representative from the Diocese of Helena said at this time they are unsure whether the pro-life memorial was impacted by the crash.

It is amazing how these “police officers” get off and beating bound and tied (in many cases unconscious) protestors. Sort of reminds me of the direction America is going recently.  I really like how they mentioned that the poor guy in this film was refused medical treatment, and then given poor medical treatment that cause his flesh to rot away. Wow, can’t wait for Obama’s socialized health care reforms to kick in! Then we can refuse people medical care because they are on some “terrorist” watch list, great!

China is a fucking joke, and Americans should avoid buying products made in China as often as possible. We shouldn’t rest easy knowing that they own most of our debt and our current administration is looking to them as a model of government efficiency.

Obama volunteers hunt budget support in Birmingham, Alabama grassroots campaign

Volunteers fanned out across the Birmingham area and Alabama Saturday to pump up enthusiasm for President Barack Obama’s budget proposal in much the same way they did to win over voters during the presidential campaign.

About 30 volunteers in Birmingham canvassed shopping areas and other high-traffic locations to talk about the need for health care reform, an education overhaul and environmentally friendly energy development.

“If we don’t change these three things in the next 10 to 15 years, America is over as we know it,” Chris DeHaven, told the group of volunteers before they went their separate ways.

Obama’s plan faces criticism from Republicans and others who say it’s too expensive. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released a report Friday saying Obama’s agenda would cause huge budget deficits, forcing the country to borrow $9.3 trillion in the next decade.

Those who gathered at Kelly Ingram Park in downtown Birmingham were urged to enlist others who share Obama’s vision and to stay away from trying to convert naysayers.

“We’re looking for supporters,” said DeHaven of Hoover, one of the event’s organizers. “We’re not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army.”

The volunteers are part of Organizing for America, the same grassroots, national network credited in large part with Obama’s quick rise from obscurity to president. Birmingham and 11 other sites statewide were part of a national push this weekend by Organizing for America to trumpet Obama’s spending proposal.

Across the metro area, volunteers gave their opinions about why Obama’s plan is good for the country’s future. Then they asked those willing to sign a pledge of support for the budget. Supporters’ e-mail addresses and other contact information were collected, to keep people engaged and to recruit more volunteers.

Leanne Townsend of Hoover also helped organize Saturday’s event. She has been a member of the Obama grassroots network since March 2007.

“Our group in Birmingham has been very involved,” Townsend said. “We’re still very energetic. We all worked so hard during the campaign. We can’t just stop.”
