There a few things I don’t understand, one of which is the subconscious desire to conform to society. I will start by analyzing things in a basic manner.

For example, let’s look at one’s occupation. It would make sense to me that everyone would choose an occupation that suits them not necessarily what other people want. More importantly such an occupation should be your sole source of income. You know, money…that things that closely resembles air in order to survive. As such, since money is extremely similar to air by way of necessity, it should take precedence over one’s “happiness”. Because lets face it, no matter how happy you are, that shit is going to be short lived if your habitually broke.

So now that we have a job we need to figure out what to do with all that “income”. Most people usually first acquire a method of transportation, such as a car. A car is like a fashion statement, and unlike your body can be shaped to your own accord. However for whatever reason, gas prices, what some others may think of them, etc people usually buy some droll piece of shit that has all the personality of a Japanese school girl. Seriously, a toyota prius, a scion, a chevy malib.

This thinking pattern repeats itself continually throughout life, it determines who we love, marry, the kind of clothes we wear, how we act towards our superiors, those we deem inferior, who we deem inferior, etc.  Is there any benefit to conformity, do we, as individual gain anything other than false friends and promotions in a society that we secretly don’t even wish to be a part of?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

MARTIAL ARTS IS A STUPID AND OUDATED PRACTICE! IT RELIES UPON YOUR CURRENT STATE OF HEALTH TO BE EFFECTIVE. IF YOU ARE IN A WHEEL CHAIR THERE IS LITTLE YOU CAN DO TO DEFENSE YOURSELF USING MARTIAL ARTS! SAME GOES IF YOU ARE IN ILL HEALTH, HANDICAPPED, OR OF SMALL STATURE AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH. HOWEVER FIREARMS PUTS DAMN NEAR EVERYONE ON AN EQUAL PLAYING FIELD, DOES NOT REQUIRE YEARS OF PRACTICE IN ORDER TO BECOME EFFECTIVE, AND WORKS IN ALMOST ALL SITUATIONS EVEN IF YOU ARE IN INCREDIBLY ILL HEALTH. THERE IS A GOOD REASON WHY IT IS THE WEAPON OF CHOICE AMONG SENOR CITIZENS WHO LIVE ALONE, WOMEN, AND ANYONE WITH ENOUGH COMMON SENSE TO UNDERSTAND THAT BRAIN BEATS BRAWN.

However it seems those words are lost on a lot of people, as proof of my H.A.K. “knife” review. I have now just gotten to the point where I don’t even entertain stupid comments and just merely delete them. Hell, its my site and I pay the bill on this bitch so “suck it!”.

My favorite quote from that post, which was subsequently deleted, was how some bozo was going off with, “…how will you defend yourself when you don’t have a gun!?” I am tired of hearing that statement and have addressed it numerous times in other post but here I go again. If you choose to put your life in danger due to a law or regulation, then you view that law or regulation as more important than your own life. You, are an idiot.  Furthermore if you don’t carry a firearm for fear of legal repercussions, you probably don’t have the testicular fortitude hurt anyone anyways.
