Today is Halloween, you know what that means? It means that grown ass adults will dress like pirates, prostitutes, or cross dress all in the name of fun. Its one thing if your children want to dress up like a princess or a ninja, they’re children, but when a grown ass adult does its just sad. Seriously, you people need to be shot.
Okay, on the hump day! Today I am actually busy in REAL life so I’m going to make this short. The bitches name is Lisa Ann and she looks good sucking a mean pole. Yet again, FireFox/Mozilla/Netscape is giving me problems. Video doesn’t seem to show with those browsers. It would be nice if stuff just “worked” without dicking with it. I used to be a huge advocate of open source and Linux, these days not so much. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, I’ve been toying with Expect Return Fire some more recently, its amazing how much traffic it has generated. Today I was thinking that perhaps the original Nazis on Shore-Leave image needed a change. Between the title and the image of a S.S. soldier throwing a grenade, people might get the wrong idea, so I changed it. Tell me what you think.I also added a sponsor page and some sponsors within the page in case you didn’t notice. I don’t think I will be adding anymore any time soon, if none of then generate a profit (greater than $3.00 a month) they will be removed.
Speaking of removal, my CZ-75 compact .40S&W has been giving me trouble yet again. It seems that every other magazine has a failure to feed or failure to eject. Apparently this is a known problem and has to do with magazines. So today I was ready to order some more magazines, stronger recoil spring, a stailness steel guide rode, but then I figured, “Why am I doing all this for a $500 dollar handgun?” Really made me question the whole thing. On top of which it seems nearly impossible to find any descent parts for CZ guns, it seems only the CZ website carries parts. The whole thing has motivated me enough to consider designing CZ parts that are actually half descent. Now to find an engineer.
Okay, now for that odd looking contraption. That, my friends, is what we call a knife. However this knife is unique in that it is spring loaded, and care fire the blade with enough force to incapacitate a man. In short, INEED this knife and am more than willing to pay cold hard cash for it. If you have one, or can get one then leave a message.

Well after a few hours and a couple cops of coffee I have created my Coppermine gallery. For those of you who don’t know, Coppermine is a set of tools that make creating a web gallery a breeze. However some people find it hard to use, I found it relatively straight forward and easy to master.
On the gallery I have a small selection of some of the photos I have taken from around the globe. Enjoy

In the November/December 2007 issue of American Handgunner has a advertisement on page 129 for the Barnes Busts Bullet Myths DVD. This DVD destroys every stupid bullet myth, superstituion, and gun store bullshit wide open. It has great computer graphics and helps finally dispel many misconcenptions people have about firearm ballistics. Best of all its free! Totally free as in you don’t even pay for shipping. So now you have no excuse to not get it.

Not too long ago I had purchased a Springfield armory tactical XD in .45ACP. I made this purchase after my experience of owning a Springfield Armory tactical XD in .40S&W, but it left me wanting something a bit stronger. The XD line is similar to Glocks but from talking to others at the local range, the XD was seen as far superior in every way. All but a few of the die-hard Glock fans would agree. What really got me interested in the XD was that it had a grip angle similar to the 1911 platform and a grip safety along with the integral USA trigger safety. However as the XD was a polymer pistol I had a problem maintaining a firm grip on it while shooting.
At first I thought perhaps this was a problem with the angle, my grip, or quite possible the design of the gun. I’ve always found aluminum alloy or polymer framed guns to be painful to shoot unless it was chambered in 9mm or .380. I’m not a fan of anything less than a .40S&W but that’s another topic.
In my quest to find guidance I was directed to Brian Enos forums. So I posted the following question in the hopes that those with more experience than I could help me out in this predicament.

Many of the responses on the message board were helpful in that they reinforced things I haven’t been doing so well, but I still felt as if the XD was simply “…jumping out of my hand…”. A few shooters had Read the rest of this entry »
